Uniting Against Childhood Obesity Conference
April 26 - 29, 2010

I. Dispelling Myths
Presentations in this track will aim
to provide accurate statistics and other evidence that challenges the common
belief that change is too costly or too difficult.
II. We Need Each Other (I Can't Do It
Alone)
These sessions will focus on
collaborations that address the issue of childhood obesity by creating
partnerships and alliances that may or may not typically be common.
III. Dare To Be Different
Presentations in this track will
provide examples of creative childhood obesity prevention solutions that
require the innovative thinking of various industries and their connections
to collaborations, systems, practices, and policies.
IV. Look At What We Can Do
Presentations in this track will
showcase the ability of a particular entity or organization to demonstrate
(best practices) what they bring to the table to address childhood obesity.
V. Changing The Way People Think
Presentations in this track will focus
on changing social norms such that making healthy decisions become
mainstream thinking.
